Shawn McAllister

Owner, Registered Architect

Shawn McAllister is the founder and principal architect of Shawn McAllister Architect, Inc., a design firm established in 1999 after working with longtime clients and building experience at WD Partners. Since founding the firm, he has developed a reputation for thoughtful design, strong technical knowledge, and an ability to create architecture that reflects each client’s individual vision and lifestyle.

A graduate of The Ohio State University, Shawn became a licensed architect in 1998 and has spent decades designing projects throughout the Columbus metropolitan area and beyond. Based in Marysville, Ohio, his firm specializes in high-end and mid-range residential architecture, along with retail and office design.

Rather than adhering to one particular architectural style, Shawn approaches each project with flexibility and attention to context, believing that successful design should feel authentic to the client and appropriate to the space. His work is recognized for its balance of creativity, functionality, and carefully considered detailing.

With extensive experience in design development, construction documentation, architectural detailing, and renderings, Shawn remains heavily involved throughout the design process. His ability to clearly communicate ideas through both technical drawings and visual presentation has been a defining part of his work and client relationships over the years.

Through Shawn McAllister Architect, Inc., he continues to focus on creating well-designed, lasting spaces with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, collaboration, and timeless architectural principles.
